Job Summary

Lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms pipelines and integration frameworks.
Oversee data governance quality and lifecycle management to ensure reliable analytics and reporting.
Apply AI/ML techniques where relevant to enhance automation prediction and decision-making.
Guide the adoption of cloud-native data and ML solutions on GCP and AWS.
Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and design end-to-end data solutions.
Create dashboards reporting tools and data visualizations for actionable business insights.
Establish best practices for data architecture performance optimization and security.
Mentor and coach data engineers and ML practitioners fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Coordinate with architects product teams and business stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise strategy.

KPIs:

Deliver robust scalable data architectures and pipelines that meet enterprise and customer needs.
Ensure high availability quality and security of data platforms and workflows.
Drive effective use of data visualization and reporting tools for customers and internal stakeholders.
Support customer engagement through solution design workshops demos and presentations.
Mentor and develop team members fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
Promote adoption of best practices in data engineering cloud platforms and applied ML.
Contribute to thought leadership by researching emerging technologies and sharing insights.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science or related field.
5 years of experience in data engineering pipeline development and ML solution design.
2 years of experience in technical leadership and customer-facing solution delivery.
Hands-on expertise with GCP (BigQuery Dataflow Vertex AI) and AWS (SageMaker EMR S3).
Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch and Scikit-learn.
Skilled in Apache Beam PySpark Airflow and data warehousing (BigQuery Snowflake).
Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL.
Proficiency with visualization and BI tools such as Looker Grafana Tableau and Looker Studio.
Strong communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Cloud certifications in data/ML engineering are an advantage.
