Job Summary

Guidewire Integration Business Systems Analyst

Exciting opportunity in the insurance industry for a certified Guidewire professional with strong experience in systems integration and P&C workflows. Work on impactful digital transformation projects in a hybrid environment based in Markham. Requires hands-on expertise in APIs data mapping and Agile practices.

What is in it for you:

Salaried: $80-85 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $92-97 per hour.
10-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid model: 3 days per week on-site subject to change.

Responsibilities:

Act as liaison between business and technical teams to support integration across Guidewire platforms.
Lead elicitation analysis and documentation of business and system requirements for integration projects.
Collaborate with developers architects QA teams and vendors to design and validate integration points.
Coordinate and execute end-to-end testing for integration components including SIT UAT and defect resolution.
Analyze and document impacts of integration changes on business processes and downstream systems.
Support data mapping transformation logic and interface specifications between Guidewire and external platforms.
Ensure integration deliverables meet compliance audit and risk standards.
Provide effort estimates and manage task assignments across integration workstreams.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to align stakeholders and resolve challenges.
Create and maintain process flows data mappings and technical documentation using Visio and JIRA.
Apply Agile practices for backlog management sprint planning and retrospectives.
Leverage P&C insurance domain knowledge to ensure alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.

What you will need to succeed:

College or University Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Computer Science Insurance).
Guidewire Certification required (Niseko specialization preferred).
3 years of experience focused on Guidewire integrations across PolicyCenter BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
Strong understanding of Guidewire architecture including web services (SOAP/REST) messaging and batch processing.
Experience with external platforms such as quoting systems broker management systems and third-party vendors.
Knowledge of P&C insurance products and workflows.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Visio and JIRA.
Solid understanding of Agile methodology and its practical application.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Comfortable working in a hybrid flexible work model.
