QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate degree in computer technology and/or five years equivalent work experience.
2. Proficiency in audio-visual technologies including projectors security cameras and various AV systems.
3. Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
4. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
5. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
6. Flexibility to work during events and handle urgent technical matters.
7. Technical writing ability and competence in creating end-user documentation.

REPORTS TO: Director of Information Technology
Objective:The Audio-Visual (AV) Specialist is responsible for the setup maintenance and operation of audio and visual equipment projectors and phones to support various events and presentations.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install configure and maintain projectors security cameras badge system cell phones district VOIP phone system smartboards bell systems and other district audio visual systems.
- Perform district preventative maintenance plan for all district audio visual equipment.
- Provide technical support for various AV technologies.
- Collaborate with contractors to integrate AV solutions and make recommendations to district administration to improve overall functionality of AV systems.
- Ensure all AV systems are functioning optimally and meet user needs.
- Set up and oversee AV equipment for events presentations and meetings.
- Provide user training.
- Research and recommend improvements to district AV technology.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or their designee.

- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the public.
