The Opportunity

This is a rare leadership opportunity for a licensed professional eager to shape both design process and studio culture.

We are seeking a Registered SC Landscape Architect ready to take the reins of a thriving design division. This role blends creativity leadership and collaboration ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design vision and real-world execution. Youll work on luxury residential landscapes collaborate with nursery and installation teams and stamp permitting packages. As the Landscape Architect youll shape the direction of our design studio uphold production standards and serve as the creative bridge between design installation and nursery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Drive vision from studio to field
Lead mentor and develop a small but talented design team
Sell the vision to clients with integrity and passion
Manage the design workflow from concept to completion
Create and review 2D and 3D plans
Stamp plans for permitting and HOA submittals
Ensure design intent translates seamlessly to installation
Collaborate across divisions Design Install and Nursery
Represent Brownswood with professionalism and creativity

Qualifications

Active South Carolina Landscape Architect License (or reciprocity eligible)
Minimum 5 years experience in residential or designbuild landscape architecture
Mastery of AutoCAD Adobe VizTerra or equivalent design software
Proven leadership and mentoring ability
Strong horticultural knowledge and familiarity with Lowcountry conditions
Excellent communication and client presentation skills

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $70000$85000 based on experience
