Summary:
The RN Staff Field Nurse autonomously delivers direct skilled care to patients and families according to the specified needs. Services provided by the (RN) Nurse Field Nurse include but not limited to Infusion administration of Biologics Intravenous Fluids Subcutaneous Therapy TPN Chemotherapy and Antibiotics. Provides direct care and educates patient families to manage care in the home and promotes patient/family safety and independence as ordered for skilled nursing services including but not limited to Enteral Care for all types of tubes Cardio-Respiratory Assessment Ostomy Therapy Wound Therapy IVAD Maintenance Neonatal Jaundice care including weights/assessments.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; associates required; Bachelors preferred.
- 2 years of experience in hospital critical care or home health nursing. Pediatric experience preferred.
- Current Texas RN licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Current Texas drivers license in good standing
- PALS Certification preferred. Must obtain within first year of employment.
