Job Title: Living Room Server (Age 21)

Rate of Pay: $12.00/hr Tips
Shift: Part-time Year Round
Variable AM/PM shifts Sunday through Saturday
Weekends and holidays required
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Summary
The Server provides an elevated level of service in the Hotel Lounge ensuring every guest experience reflects Sundances standards of authenticity craftsmanship and understated luxury. This role delivers warm intuitive hospitality maintains a polished presence and upholds the quality and consistency that define the Sundance brand.
Essential Functions
- Provide attentive timely and knowledgeable service to every guest.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure accuracy pacing and presentation.
- Set up and break down the lounge to maintain cleanliness and readiness.
- Monitor stock and par levels for assigned areas and communicate needs promptly.
- Engage with guests authentically anticipating needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle payments and maintain accurate records of sales and transactions.
- Follow all service standards and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.
Product Quality:
- Prepare and present beverages to company standards.
- Follow recipes and maintain exceptional product presentation.
- Educate guests on menu offerings products and services.
Alcoholic Beverages:
- Understand and comply with Utah alcohol laws and resort policies.
- Serve alcohol responsibly and complete all required documentation.
- Communicate beverage options clearly and confidently to guests.
Other Duties:
- Maintain clean organized and safe work areas.
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Support teammates as needed to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality coursework preferred.
- 12 years of experience in upscale or boutique hotel dining required.
- Strong communication attentiveness and guest service skills.
- Must meet Utah alcohol certification requirements.
- Professional polished and composed in a luxury service setting.
- Genuine appreciation for detail-oriented and guest-focused hospitality.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
