Short Description

We are excited to have an opportunity for a new team member at Cooper focused on all things Research within the Business Applications Team. We have a team of talented collaborative and supportive team members who support the patient experience here at Cooper University Hospital. We are looking for a seasoned analyst who would be responsible for:

Research Implementation and Maintenance: Configuring and customizing systems to meet the specific needs of the organization.
Workflow Analysis: Understanding and optimizing healthcare workflows to ensure efficient use of the Epic Research and Clinical Trials Management System.
Stakeholder Facilitation and Collaboration: Working closely with clinicians administrators and IT teams to gather requirements educate on best practices and design solutions.
Patient Champion: Keeping the patient experience first and foremost in all that we do.
Analyzes diagnoses and implementssystem andprocess changes.

  • Acts as theapplicationsubject matter expert (SME) when assigned to project teams.
  • Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols.
  • Works with cross functional teams and Cooper clients by providing education on system functionality and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity within the application.
  • Consistently meets project deadlines and goes the extra mile to ensure dates are met.

Support

  • Serves as a liaison between end users subject matterexpertsand technical support
  • Provides on-call support 24/7
  • Monitors queues event logs and brokers and performs maintenance asrequired
  • Monitors interfaces with external systems
  • Creates ad hoc reports per user specifications
  • QA/triage tickets

Testing

  • Developsplansand executestesting for supported applications
  • Createsandmaintainstest scripts in support of new installations projects and/or system updates.

Experience Required

3-5 years required.

Education Requirements

High school/GED required. Bachelors degree preferred.

License/Certification Requirements

Healthcare experience in hospital medical practice or health system preferred.
