Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced CMDB professional The IT CMDB Analyst is responsible for managing the day to day the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the organization. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of the CMDB which is critical for effective IT service management. The CMDB Manager will work closely with various IT teams to maintain and improve the CMDB ensuring it supports the organizations IT infrastructure and service management processes.

What youll do

• Maintain and manage the CMDB ensuring data accuracy integrity and completeness.
• Integrate data from various sources into the CMDB ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Develop and implement processes for CMDB maintenance and improvement.
• Work closely with IT teams including Service Desk Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure the CMDB supports their needs.
• Generate and analyse reports on CMDB data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Ensure CMDB processes comply with relevant standards and regulations.

What youll need

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in IT service management.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with CMDB tools and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
