About the role.
Were looking for a commercially sharp insight-led National Account Executive to join our high-performing team. This is not your average sales support role were seeking someone whos just as comfortable diving into category insights and promotional effectiveness as they are managing customer relationships and executing plans.
This role is the perfect springboard for someone looking to build a career in account management category development or commercial strategy within FMCG. Youll work with major retail customers supporting national account managers in delivering best-in-class execution and youll stand out by bringing data-led thinking and curiosity to every conversation.

About the team.
The Retail Sales team at McCain is made up of three closely connected functions Sales Category and Demand. Each customer and channel benefits from dedicated support across all three functions with daily collaboration to share insight and drive results. We are a winning team and were proud to say we finished top in The Advantage Group across all categories for the 5th year running.
Where will I work.
Being in the office every single day is a thing of the past. Here at McCain we champion hybrid working. This means we dont have a set expectation of exactly when you need to be in the office however we do encourage our full-time office-based people to connect in person with others for around half of their working time as thats the best way for us to build and maintain our connections. Our head office (Customer Experience Centre) is on the outskirts of Scarborough 1.5 hours away from Leeds City Centre and about an hour from York. We have lots of colleagues who travel to and from our Experience Centre (even if it is just for a good coffee!) and because hybrid really does mean hybrid at McCain they get the opportunity to collaborate with their colleagues when theyre in the office and balance that with working from home to ensure they get a good life-work balance.
