The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Machinist to join our team in the H20 additive manufacturing cell. The Machinist will be responsible for operating both metal and polymer 3D printers and performing various post-processing operations.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Set up and tear down builds and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
Complete Laser Additive Metal Processing (LAMP) certification.
Operate and maintain plastic 3D printers.
Operate and maintain metal additive machines.
Perform post-processing operations such as vacuum heat treatment band saw and wire EDM cutoff support removal deburring grit blasting etc.
Communicate change of shift requirements to ensure team members receive accurate and reliable information and documentation.
Clean organize and maintain cellular manufacturing work area in accordance with established standards.
Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts throughout the cell.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
2 years of general manufacturing experience with advanced manufacturing equipment is desired
Must be able to read and follow planning instructions
Must be able to use hand tools and standard measuring instruments
Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches) capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
U.S. citizenship is required
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
