Your Opportunity
Mission Australia Residential Aged Care provides compassionate person-centred care to older Australians in safe supportive and inclusive environments. Guided by Mission Australias values of compassion integrity respect and perseverance our aged care services focus on enhancing quality of life dignity and wellbeing for every resident.
As a Cleaner youll play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of residents by ensuring our aged care home is clean comfortable and safe. Youll work closely with the care team to deliver high standards of cleanliness across all areas contributing to a positive environment where residents feel at home.
Shifts Available:
Mon to Friday morning shifts; 5 days a week Monday Wednesday Thursday and Friday: Morning shifts 4 days a week Monday to Wednesday; morning shifts; 3 days a week
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Responsible for the cleaning and presentation of the facility
- Ensure infection control procedures are followed
- Report risks or potential risks for residents in the facility
- Represent Mission Australia to external contacts at all opportunities
- Operate in line with Mission Australia and the Aged Care Division policies and procedure
Requirements for Success
- Cleaning experience in an Aged Care facility or similarwould be desirable
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Be able to work supervised and/or unsupervised at times
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- COVID current booster and Flu vaccine mandatory
Before starting work with us you will need to undertake a national police history check work rights checks and reference checks.
