Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute sub-acute aged care and community services.
The Staff Health Nurse is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive vaccination clinic in accordance with the Australian Immunisation Guidelines. Maintaining compliance with infection prevention and control requirements in relevant state and/or national accreditation standards and guidelines.
Annual leave relief covering the Infection Prevention and Control team including Staff Health service and Hand Hygiene coordinator is also a requirement of this role.
To be eligible for this position you must have a Nurse Immuniser Certificate. If you are interested in this position and do not currently have the Immuniser Certificate NHW will reimburse the cost of undertaking the pre-approved Immunization Certificate.
