As Principal Traction Maintenance Engineer youll lead the provision of expert technical and safety support for the operation use and maintenance of our 25/50kV Traction Overhead System. This is your opportunity to shape asset strategy ensure compliance and drive safety across one of the states most critical rail infrastructure systems.
About the Role
In this pivotal role you will lead a team of technical specialists providing engineering leadership and safety advice across Queensland Rails traction power network. Youll develop and implement asset and process audit regimes ensuring compliance with QR standards and contributing to long-term investment planning.
Youll also collaborate across teams and projects supporting activities that interface with Network SEQ and influencing asset development strategies.

Remuneration and Work Arrangement
This is a permanent full-time position based in Brisbane CBD offering a competitive salary package. Relocation support is available if required. The base salary begins at $160991 with the final offer to be determined based on the experience of the successful candidate.
