Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Critical Care for an exciting job in Utica NY.

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU).
Manage post-cardiac surgery (fresh heart) patients and those with cardiogenic shock AAA and other cardiovascular conditions.
Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data ventilator settings and cardiac monitors.
Administer medications infusions and treatments per physician orders.
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
Uphold infection control and patient safety standards in all care practices.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiothoracic ICU experience with fresh heart patients required.
Certifications: Current BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
Systems: Proficiency in EPIC EMR required.
Travel: Prior travel nursing experience required.
Skills: Strong critical care cardiac monitoring and ventilator management skills; ability to work in a high-acuity fast-paced environment.
