Job Summary

In this role youll:


Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of bridge infrastructure and maintenance projects ensuring all works are completed to approved time cost quality and scope requirements.

Manage investigation structural assessments and design activities including preparing project briefs and cost estimates engaging specialist service providers and overseeing design and work programs to maximise resource efficiency.

Prepare and administer technical and contractual documentation for bridge works including scopes specifications ITPs and procurement materials to support safe compliant and efficient delivery of direct control and contract works.

Oversee project performance site operations and safety/environmental compliance including monitoring expenditure supervising bridge works (e.g. concrete repairs formwork crack injection) resolving technical issues and ensuring consistent standards across multiple bridge sites and conditions.

This role is based in Dubbo and there is an expectation to live in the region. Note travel to remote worksites will also be required with some overnight stays.

About you


Bring 24 years experience in bridge or road maintenance and construction with a solid understanding of structural repair methods bridge components and site operations.

Hold a four-year Civil engineering degree

Able to prioritise work across multiple bridge sites balancing safety asset management and network efficiency while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Experienced in supporting or leading a direct control workforce and knowledgeable in tendering contract management and compliance requirements.

While not essential it would be ideal if you were confident in applying TfNSW specifications (R53 B80 B201 M757) and preparing accurate estimates job programs and project documentation.
