AECOM is seeking Construction Project Management Manager to be based in New York NY.
This position will oversee a complex public facility that will need major renovation including floor slab replacement complete MEP systems replacement and Boiler Room relocation from lower level to upper level as part of Flood mitigation misc. exterior and interior repairs. Building may remain partially occupied during construction.
- Lead and manage team of inspectors office engineer project schedule reviewer throughout the construction period.
- Ensure that all necessary documents and deliverables are uploaded to e-Builder and report on design and construction schedule.
- Ensure all contractors/consultants adhere to program procedures.
- Monitor interactions with utility companies.
- Review and comment on construction cost estimates.
- Review and comment on Contractors project schedule and report on progress.
- Attend meetings with Owner A-E of Record and Contractor and follow through to ensure action items are addressed in a timely manner.
- Provide on-site management oversight to monitor compliance with scope and adherence to industry-accepted construction practices.
- Track filing and renewal of permits and Monitor schedule compliance.
- Report any issues related tolack of progress and delays.
- Ensure timely completion of close-out process.
- Confirm provision of necessary turnover training warranties operations and maintenance manuals.
- Confirm necessary on-going maintenance is in place and coordinated with Property Management.
- Ensure all project-related documents including closeout requirements are correctly filed in e-Builder.
- Interface and Coordinate with the Citys third-party inspections or special inspections in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal communications and collaboration skills comfortable engaging with residents in a multi-cultural environment and with tenant and development management elected representatives and other stakeholders
- Experience in project or program management oversight experience
