You will join our Global Legal Operations
As our new Legal Advisor for Contracts and Corporate you will be part of the Global Legal Operations team on a full-time basis. The Global Legal Ops provides legal services for businesses operating in all jurisdictions globally mainly US UK APAC/CMEA and Europe. Global Legal Ops Team members are located in India and Europe. The principal activity is the review the consultancy sub-consultancy Supplier and vendor contracts with clients and suppliers and advice to the teams in-house client base. The team is also responsible for PI insurance claims handling matters and corporate/com sec support for these countries.
Join our dynamic and globally integrated Legal Operations Team as a Legal Advisor for Contracts and Corporate. This is a pivotal full-time role where you will manage complex legal risk and drive compliance across our worldwide operations.
Our team provides essential legal services to all global business units focusing primarily on key markets across the US UK APAC/CMEA and Europe. We are a highly collaborative distributed team with members based in India and Europe ensuring 24/7 legal coverage and support.
Your principal activities will involve hands-on contract review and negotiation strategic legal advice to internal clients and essential corporate support functions.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be to:
- Draft review and redline a high volume of complex commercial agreements including client consultancy sub-consultancy supplier and vendor contracts.
- Provide expert legal counsel to in-house client teams on contract interpretation commercial negotiation strategy and risk mitigation across all covered jurisdictions.
- Ensure the highest quality legal support is embedded within our global procurement processes overseeing legal risk and contributing to process improvements.
- Manage a workload that includes both primary jurisdictions and overflow requests assisting in the knowledge management and standardization of contract templates.
- Draft and negotiate specialized agreements with vendors with a particular focus on IT SaaS and technology service agreements.
- Partner with our product development and engineering teams to ensure all new SaaS products and digital offerings are protected by appropriate legal terms licenses and end-user agreements.
- Drive compliance for our digital products with complex and evolving legislative frameworks (e.g. intellectual property data protection and consumer laws).
The key deliverables over the first 24 months for this role will be:
- Service management - contracts: together with the rest of the team ensures the responses are timely and of high quality while pragmatic and aligned to Ramboll governance.
- Service management - corporate: ensures the corporate details are up to date and transactions supported timely and of high quality
- Stakeholder management: develops strong working relations with the Tender Managers and Company Directors for the Hub entities.

- Minimum 5-7 years of post-graduate legal experience from a law firm or in-house legal team within IT law and general commercial legal work field including drafting reviewing and negotiating complex commercial vendor contracts DPAs and Terms of use for SaaS and other software
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Must be able to work with people of different cultures and interface with all levels in the organization. Strong workload and people management skills. Ability to apply commercial and pragmatic approach when advising on contracts in foreign jurisdiction.
