Banstead Infant School is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting young people helping to enhance their learning and nurture their social and emotional development.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our welcoming and supportive team as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant. What we are looking for:

  • Be dynamic enthusiastic and motivated
  • Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
  • Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
  • Have experience of working with children with SEN
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
  • Be a confident and clear communicator with parents
  • Have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Hours:26.65hrs a week - Monday - Friday 8.50am 3.20pm (Term-time 38.6 weeks)

Salary:GLF Associate 2.1 23651 FTE

Pro-rata Salary:14907.81

Contract Type:FTC until 31st August 2026

Closing Date: Friday 21st November at 9.30am

Interview Date:TBC
