Mortgage Closer | Sage Home Loans

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte NC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

As a Mortgage Loan Closer atSage Home Loansyoullplay a key role in delivering seamlessaccurate andtimelyloan closings that reflect our mission to make mortgage simple. What Youll Do

• Serve as a key point of contact for all parties throughout the closing process including Loan Officers Realtors Borrowers Attorneys and Title Companies.

• Manage loan closings to meet contract deadlines and rate lockexpirationdates.

• Close Conventional FHA and VA residential mortgages.

• Ensure loan files and documentationcomply withcompany investor and regulatory standards.

• Verify that documents are drawn within posted turn times and consistently meet deadlines.

• Process a minimum of 3 files per day during standard business operations with flexibility for changing volume as directed by management.

• Reconcile and approve Closing Disclosures ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Review Closing Disclosures with borrowers and schedule closings.

• Prepare and deliver complete compliant closing packages.

• Maintain organized andaccuratedigital filing of all documentation using system checklists and job aides.

• Collaborate with processing underwriting and post-closing departments to resolve issues and ensure completeness of closing packages.

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the entire loan lifecycle toanticipateand manage dependencies within the closing process.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintain customer satisfaction scores of 4.75 or higher.

What Were LookingFor

• Solid understanding ofTRID guidelinesand compliancerequirements.

• Experience withConventional FHA and VAloan programs (preferred).

• Working knowledge ofEncompassloan origination software (preferred).

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting deadlines.

• Proactive and dependable work ethic witha strong senseof urgency.

Compensation

• USA Compensation Range: $31.25

*Note actual compensation is based on geographic location qualifications and experience.
