Job Summary
- We are hiring immediately for part time JANTIOR (FACILITY SUPPORT)positions.
- Location: TAMU - 600 Agronomy Road College Station TX 77843 (Openings at other locations within school district available)Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: Flexible part-time hours to fit student schedules. Shifts may include mornings afternoons or evenings. MondayFriday. Final schedule will be discussed during the interview.
- Requirement: Janitor experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!
- Fixed Pay Rate: $12.00per hour

Job Summary
Summary: This position focuses on regular restroom checks light upkeep and general space monitoring rather than full custodial cleaning. Ideal for students seeking flexible hours and hands-on facilities experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine checks of restrooms to ensure supplies are stocked cleanliness standards are maintained and any issues are reported promptly.
- Monitor assigned areas including hallways common spaces and activity roomsto ensure they remain clean and orderly.
- Complete light custodial tasks such as wiping surfaces spot-mopping and tidying small areas as needed.
- Empty trash in designated locations following approved procedures.
- Report maintenance or cleaning needs to supervisors to ensure timely response.
- Follow supervisor instructions and adhere to safety and facility guidelines.
- Maintain a professional team-oriented attitude while interacting with staff students and visitors.
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
- Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
- Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
- Washes walls windows furniture baseboards and other items to maintain a clean safe environment for patients visitors and staff.
- Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
- Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Performs tasks in accordance with all federal state and county guidelines.
- Strips scrubs buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
- Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers fellow employees and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
