Primary Function of Position
This role drives strategic product management for medical device portfolios leading cross-functional teams and major business initiatives to deliver innovative and compliant products.
Essential Job Duties
- Define product vision strategy and roadmap in alignment with company and market needs.
- Oversee new product development commercial launch and lifecycle management.
- Lead cross-functional teams for complex project execution (technical regulatory business).
- Ensure department adherence to global regulatory requirements (FDA EU MDR ISO).
- Forecast and manage portfolio budgets performance metrics and resource allocation.
- Mentor and develop managers and team members in product management best practices.
- Represent product management in executive forums and strategic initiatives.
- Lead major complaint investigations recalls or field actions as needed.
- Champion continuous improvement and process harmonization.
- Analyze and respond to market trends competitor products and customer feedback.
Qualifications :
Required Experience and Education
- Minimum 10 years experience in product management with a bachelors degree in engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Expert knowledge of global medical device regulations
- Strategic portfolio planning and execution abilities
- Budget and resource management skills
- Advanced problem-solving and cross-functional leadership
- Experience managing complex projects and large teams
- Strong mentoring coaching and communication skills
