About the role:

Samsara is looking for a Deal Support Training Manager to play a critical role in scaling the knowledge and skills of our Deal Support (Deal Execution Deal Strategy) organization. This role will design deliver and manage learning programs to ensure our teams are equipped with the systems processes and policy knowledge needed to support our world-class sales organization. This role will have an outsized impact on the future of our sales organization by helping us Build for The Long Term as we grow past $1B in revenue.

You will partner with leaders across Samsaras go-to-market teams to create and facilitate learning experiences that drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design combined with a passion for process improvement and empowering others to succeed in a fast-moving operational environment.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Mexico.

In this role you will:

  • Facilitate & Deliver Training: Facilitate engaging virtual and occasionally in-person instructor-led sessions for onboarding new team members and for ongoing continuous learning on topics such as new systems (e.g. Salesforce CPQ) deal processes and sales policies.
  • Design & Develop Content: Partner with subject matter experts within Deal Support and Sales Operations to design develop and maintain training content documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Measure & Improve: Track measure and report on the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on team performance (e.g. deal velocity data quality) using data and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify Knowledge Gaps & Learning Needs: Proactively partner with managers and team members to understand day-to-day workflows. Shadow analysts and review deals to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for targeted coaching and training.
  • Manage Learning Projects: Manage multiple learning initiatives and projects simultaneously from scoping and design to delivery and measurement ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
  • Champion Change: Drive change management for process and systems improvements within the Deal Support organization collaborating with cross-functional SMEs to ensure the team is prepared supported and equipped with the necessary resources to adapt to change.
  • Champion role model and embed Samsaras cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success Build for the Long Term Adopt a Growth Mindset Be Inclusive Win as a Team) as we scale globally.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 5 years of experience in an enablement training or sales/business operations role with a focus on creating and delivering training for internal teams
  • Demonstrated skills leading engaging live or virtual learning experiences for technical and process-oriented topics
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is required; understanding of the overall sales technology ecosystem is highly preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex initiatives from end-to-end
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to distill complex processes and policies into clear digestible training materials
  • Expert skills with facilitation and content creation tools (e.g. Google Suite Zoom Articulate Camtasia etc.)

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Salesforce/CPQ Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Training facilitation skills certification such as ATD Master Trainer or similar
  • Experience in a technical writing and/or instructional design role
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment
  • Familiarity with Process Improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma) is a plus
  • Bilingual - English (C1 to Native) & Spanish (C1 to Native)
