HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Leads/oversees a team of RN/Navigators coordinating patients care through the Cancer Center.
- Collects comprehensive biophysical and psychosocial data derives and validates diagnoses identifies expected outcomes develops individualized treatment plans implements and documents said plans and evaluates progress toward outcomes attainment.
- Fosters positive provider and community relationships.
- Abstracts and enters registry data.
- Participates in ongoing service line-based competencies and hospital-wide educational activities.
- Fosters nursing practice improvements and advancements.
- Displays an understanding of diversity.
- Demonstrates integrity compassion accountability respect and excellence (I CARE values).
- Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues visitors and patients.
- Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.
Reports To:SL Service Line Administrator Cancer Center (JC: 009202)
Supervises:None Leads of team of RN Registered Nurse/Navigators (JC: 037203) but does not supervise directly
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education: Associate degree in nursing.
Preferred Education:Bachelors degree in nursing.
Required Experience: Two (2) years of job-related experience.
Preferred Experience: Five (5) years of job-related leadership experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry: Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.) Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations) Chapter 464 (Nursing) Part I (Nurse Practice Act) includes multistate compact licensure.
Preferred Certification/License/Registry:Administrative practice or clinical specialty certification.
