Job Summary

Overview

Adastra is seeking a Senior QuickSight Developer to join our team in Toronto. This hybrid role is ideal for a data visualization specialist with deep expertise in Amazon QuickSight and Tableau passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights through compelling dashboards and visual analytics. You will play a key role in designing intuitive data products that empower strategic decision-making.

Location:Hybrid 3-days on-site - Toronto / NYC

Status:Contract

Duration: December 2025 - March 2026; potential extension

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight and Tableau
Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful visualizations
Optimize dashboard performance and ensure scalability for large datasets
Translate business needs into intuitive user-friendly data products
Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for visualization standards
Contribute to BI best practices and mentor junior team members when needed

Qualifications:

5 years of experience in data visualization and BI development
Advanced proficiency in Amazon QuickSight and Tableau
Strong understanding of data productshow they are designed built and consumed
Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries
Familiarity with AWS ecosystem and data integration concepts
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other BI tools and data visualization frameworks
Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms AWS preferred
