DirectSales Manager

Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations acrossDTCsaleschannelsincludingcustomer service and fulfillment functions supporting both on-site and off-site business activities. Ensures smooth coordination between departmentsaccuratefinancial processing and exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee three revenue streams (OutboundInbound and Wine Club)including leadership of an eight-member team and management of associatedlogistics

• Partners with Human Resources and the Director of Consumer Sales & Hospitality to provide effective leadership guidance and performance management for direct reports

• Supervision of on-site inventoryand wine ordering wine movementstransfersvolume forecastingshipping compliance support

• Collaborate with the finance team to manage inventory transfers and resolve variances

• Lead forecasting initiatives and contribute to vintage roll planning and strategy

• Oversee club shipment setup including creating and managing quarterly packages for all wine clubs

• Troubleshoot and resolve daily shipping and system issues across multiple platforms including Commerce7 StripeWineDirect Wine Services CoopCellarPass UPS marketing to ensure products are set up for compliance shipping sellingin systems and locations

• Coordinate with Marketing onRedChirp campaigns including scheduling and building micro-campaigns

• Create targeted lists for marketing and sales campaigns across email text and phone channels

• Supervise customer service teams handling offsite sales and order fulfillment

• Oversee Will Call order shipping and reservation management

• Handle financial processes including expense coding variance review and vendor credits (WineDirectand others)

• Track and resolve issues related to returned or damaged packages declined paymentsand datadiscrepancies

• Assistwith promotions coupon setup and wholesale or special project initiatives (e.g. Employee Allocations Premier Napa Valley Gift Sets Family Requests)

• Provide visitor center support as needed including front desk coverage

• Communicate operational processes policies and updates across teams

• Lead data cleanup and maintenance projects to ensure system accuracy

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in sales operations business operations or related role; experience in the wine or hospitality industryessential

• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and supporting sales fulfillment and customer service functions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data andidentifyprocess improvements

• Proficient in CRM POS and eCommerce platforms (e.g. Commerce7WineDirect StripeRedChirpCellarPass)

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration

• Ability to lead mentor and develop team members

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace; advanced Excel skills preferred

• Ability to work on-site with occasional weekend or event coverage as needed

• Must be able toliftupto50lbsandassistwith shipmentlogisticswhen necessary

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Operate a desktop computer using keyboard and mouse employing repetitive arm and wrist motions

• Lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work in different exposures: indoor outdoor hot coldwetor dry

• Ability to work while standing on different surfaces: cement blacktopgraveland dirt

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay scale offered for this position is $/annually and includes bonus potential. This salary rangerepresentswhatwe reasonablyexpect to pay for this position. However the actual pay rate will depend upon job-related factors such as overall qualifications skills experience education etc. The Company reserves the right tomodifythe range at any time.
