About The Opportunity
As business continues to grow our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Truganina. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get started in warehousing and logistics with full training and development provided. The successful candidate will support the Warehouse Manager in all day-to-day operations.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Receive and dispatch goods with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment with a valid licence
- Maintain a clean organised and safety-compliant warehouse environment
- Assist with warehouse process improvements and stock layout optimisation
- Manage dispatch processes and handle freight bookings with external carriers
- Perform stock control tasks including inventory counts and resolving discrepancies
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Valid Drivers Licence (essential)
- Forklift licence and proficient computer skills
- High level of enthusiasm reliability and motivation
- Physical fitness to manage the demands of a hands-on role
