Essential Job Function |
Removes burrs and sharp edges from parts according to customer specification or blue prints Demonstrates proficiency in the use of a variety of hand and power tools May perform other duties necessary Visually and dimensionally inspects part for burrs and sharp edges Trains and instructs other employees as directed Perform parts measurements and quality checks using digital height gages and calipers; also go / no-go and thread gages Enter work order confirmations in Traceability software Record measurement data in MMS /QC Gage databases Manual deburring and visual inspection of parts after machining using a variety of powered hand tools May perform other duties as requested |
Knowledge Skills and Abilities |
Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement Knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods. Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses and maintenance. Able to sit for long periods of time |
