As a Bridge Technologist in the Government of Alberta youll play a pivotal role in the oversight and upkeep of the provinces bridge infrastructurebridging the gap between technical execution and public service. From emergency repairs to large-scale rehabilitation your expertise ensures that Albertas bridges remain strong safe and sustainable for years to come.
As a Bridge Technologist youll support the Bridge Manager in delivering a wide range of bridge maintenance and rehabilitation programs. Youll manage projects through every phasefrom inspections and design input to construction oversight and contractor engagement. This role blends fieldwork contract administration stakeholder collaboration and problem-solving in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Your decisions and leadership will directly influence project outcomes public safety and long-term asset integrity.
