The Specialist/ Sr Specialist AAdvantage Business Acquisitions is part of the Commercial Division. This role is a key part of our SMB growth strategy responsible for driving new customer acquisition and strategic partnerships. The role will focus on identifying onboarding and activating partnerssuch as trade show organizers industry associations and SMB networksto promote AAdvantage Business to their members and broader communities.
What youll do
Identify onboard and activate strategic partnersincluding trade show organizers industry associations and SMB networksto expand AAdvantage Business reach and engagement within targeted communities
Cultivate and manage high-impact relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations to drive sustained collaboration and program advocacy
Develop and execute tailored co-marketing plans that align with partner goals and effectively promote AAdvantage Business to their audiences
Monitor and analyze partner performance using insights to refine strategies enhance ROI and scale high-performing partnerships
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Sales and Product teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution of partner initiatives
All youll need for success
- Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field
4 years of experience in business development sales or marketing preferably in the loyalty program or travel industry
- Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses or in the loyalty program space
Knowledge of the airline industry and American Airlines loyalty program
Experience with partner management and activation strategies
Certification in marketing or sales (e.g. CMP CEM)
- Skills Licenses & Certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel Tableau)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
