Category Team Leader Denim Outerwear Accessories & Woven Bottoms

About the Role

We are looking for a Category Team Leader to lead the Denim Outerwear Accessories & Woven Bottoms categories. This is a highly strategic and managerial role responsible for driving product direction commercial performance and team development. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and business acumen with deep technical expertise in denim and a passion for creating trend-right collections that resonate with our global customer. The role involves managing a cross-functional team including Design Buying Planning and Product Development.

Your Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the team to develop commercially successful and fashion-forward collections across the assigned categories.

Define product strategy and seasonal direction ensuring strong alignment with brand positioning and business goals.

Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept design and sourcing to production and delivery.

Ensure close collaboration between Design Buying Planning and Product Development.

Monitor category performance identifying opportunities for improvement and reacting quickly to market trends.

Act as the key decision maker for pricing margin and supplier strategy.

Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and factories with a particular focus on denim expertise and innovation.

Foster a collaborative high-performing team culture driving motivation accountability and professional growth.

Partner with leadership teams across departments to ensure cohesive brand and product strategy.

Your Profile

Extensive experience in denim product development and sourcing; deep technical understanding of fabrics washes and fits.

Proven leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams (Design Buying Planning Development).

Strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial sense.

Exceptional communication and influencing skills.

Highly organized adaptable and solution-oriented.

Previous experience in fast-paced fashion retail environments is a strong plus.

Fluent in English; any additional language is an advantage.
