This role requires strong experience working across beauty and drinks brands with a deep understanding of how to craft and deliver standout campaigns in these sectors. As an Account Director youll lead day-to-day client relationships and oversee a matrix of account teams to deliver exciting effective and integrated campaigns. Youll also act as a mentor inspiring your team through knowledge-sharing collaboration and a genuine enthusiasm for PR culture and trends.
What youll do:
Client & Campaign Leadership
- Lead the planning and delivery of creative campaigns and press office activity ensuring all work is delivered efficiently within scope and aligned with client objectives.
- Shape brand and product storytelling across multiple channels. (earned owned influencer and social media)
- Develop strategic integrated communications plans that deliver measurable results.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships providing confident counsel and responding quickly to queries or challenges.
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth within existing client accounts.
Media & Influencer Relations
- Create compelling media strategies and pitch complex stories to national and international outlets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key journalists and influencers introducing clients and teams where appropriate.
- Stay across industry trends competitor activity and cultural conversations to inform reactive and proactive recommendations.
Financial & Business Management
- Draft and manage detailed Statements of Work (SoWs) and budgets for large campaigns.
- Ensure accounts are run profitably and efficiently monitoring hours scopes and resourcing.
- Recognise and convert opportunities for organic client growth.
- Ensure timely financial administration including timesheets and budget reconciliations.
- Contribute to new business development by supporting proposals and pitches.
Team Management
- Lead and inspire your team ensuring clear briefings fair delegation and accountability for delivery.
- Mentor and develop junior staff fostering a supportive and high-performing team culture.
- Encourage creativity and collaboration in brainstorms and campaign planning sessions
Personal Leadership
- Model professionalism integrity and accountability in all interactions.
- Demonstrate agility and composure in a fast-moving environment.
- Stay informed and inspired. Actively engage with media culture and industry developments.
- Uphold the highest quality standards in all deliverables from media materials to client documents.
