ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is focused on driving new business growth across MC Saatchi North America. You will work directly with the Chief Growth Officer and Growth Directors across disciplines to identify pursue and convert opportunities that align with the agencys strategic priorities.
Your primary objective will be to nurture and build a growth pipeline manage the business development process from start to finish from intelligence-gathering to pitch processes and final outputs ensuring that every pursuit reflects MC Saatchis integrated earned-first approach to creative solutions and commitment to Cultural Power.
While you will collaborate with marketing counterparts and drive some marketing initiatives this role is primarily focused on business development.
As part of the Regional Growth team and the broader MC Saatchi North America growth community this role will focus on building and nurturing new business relationships for our Issues Reputations specialism (MC Saatchi SSK) with a focus on reputation-based advertising social impact and strategic advisory. Experience or a genuine interest in these areas is a strong plus.
Were also looking for someone who can flex across categories leading or supporting pitches beyond these core areas such as consumer brands or B2B particularly during high-volume periods when cross-regional collaboration is key.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with brand and marketing decision-makers intermediaries and partner agencies to build a robust and healthy new business pipeline.
- Manage the end-to-end new business pitch process including resourcing for new business needs.
- Maintain and continue to add to core growth materials including creds case studies and pitch materials.
- Manage and contribute to the new business pipeline ensuring accuracy transparency and proactive planning in partnership with the Growth team.
- Collaborate with regional growth marketing teams on regional workstreams.
WHAT YOULL BRING
- 810 years of experience in new business or growth roles within an agency environment - agency experience is critical
- Proven success in managing integrated pitch processes with multiple stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of marketing communications and creative industries with strong commercial instincts.
- Strong verbal written and visual communication skills; an excellent presenter and writer.
- Proactive organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM or pipeline tools (e.g. HubSpot) to manage reporting is a plus.
- Ability to travel periodically.
