Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor younger technicians ensuring adherence to best practices and procedures.
Perform system start-ups overseeing the proper functioning of diverse HVAC equipment including boilers chillers cooling towers large-scale systems mini-splits VRF systems package units and split systems.
Work with advanced HVAC technologies such as hot gas reheat systems desiccant wheels for dehumidification and hydronic systems.
Handle both remote and onsite diagnostics troubleshooting and repairs.
Conduct regular inspections preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to optimize system performance.
Meet with clients to discuss system performance maintenance strategies and ensure their equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

10 years of experience working with commercial/industrial HVAC systems including VRF systems boilers chillers cooling towers split systems package units hydronic systems hot gas reheat and desiccant wheels for dehumidification.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a proven ability to guide and develop junior technicians.
Extensive knowledge of start-up commissioning and service for complex HVAC systems.
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities across a wide range of equipment.
Strong communication skills especially in client-facing situations.
Relevant HVAC certifications (EPA OSHA etc.) are highly desirable.
