Job Title: Lead Java Developer/ Java Architect

Location: Preferred open to relocate to East Coast Onsite/Hybrid USA EST Coast

Duration: Long Term Contract

Description

We are seeking a strong Lead Java Developer / Java Architect with 10 years experience who can drive design development and implementation of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on coding skills in Java deep experience in microservices architecture cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and be able to mentor technical teams while ensuring high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture design and development of scalable secure high-performance applications.
Develop and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot.
Work closely with business analysts product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements.
Define and enforce coding standards CI/CD practices and architectural principles.
Perform code reviews troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
Collaborate with DevOps team for cloud deployment and release management.

Technical Skills Required

Core Java Java 11/17 strong programming fundamentals.
Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Cloud.
Microservices Architecture & distributed system design.
RESTful APIs design & integration.
Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Databases: PostgreSQL / Oracle / MySQL / MongoDB.
CI/CD & DevOps tools: Git Maven/Gradle Jenkins Docker Kubernetes.
Messaging / Event-streaming: Kafka / MQ / RabbitMQ (preferred).
Experience with Caching frameworks like Redis / Hazelcast (plus).
Experience with API Gateway Service Mesh OpenAPI/Swagger.
Exposure to performance tuning and distributed caching.
Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
Cloud Certifications (AWS / Azure).

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
