Job Description:

The Client is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) program.

This role is pivotal to advancing the rapid deployment and testing of ICAM solutions in alignment with Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) 3.0 Zero Trust Cybersecurity strategies and the implementation of robust cybersecurity monitoring for Privileged Enterprise Platform (PEP) services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design deploy and maintain secure scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions across on-premises cloud and hybrid environments to support Client RAS and ICAM initiatives.
Accelerate delivery and implementation of ICAM capabilities with a focus on rapid prototyping deployment and testing to meet evolving organizational needs and compliance requirements.
Lead the implementation of cybersecurity monitoring and controls for PEP services ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles and TIC 3.0 security enhancements.
Collaborate with system owners IT security development and operations teams to ensure infrastructure integrates effectively with ICAM solutions and supports enterprise objectives.
Utilize cloud-native and third-party tools to implement TIC 3.0 security enhancements driving the adoption of best practices in security and automation.
Monitor analyze and optimize system performance to guarantee reliability scalability and operational efficiency.
Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform Ansible or Puppet to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
Administer and maintain servers networks storage virtualization (VMware Hyper-V) and containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
Ensure all systems adhere to stringent security best practices regulatory compliance requirements and Client organizational standards.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity through resilient infrastructure design and proactive risk mitigation.
Provide advanced technical support serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure-related issues and mentor junior team members as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in infrastructure engineering systems administration or a comparable technical role preferably in large enterprise or government environments.
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud; virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V); and containerization solutions (Docker Kubernetes).
Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible Puppet) and scripting languages (Python Bash PowerShell).
Comprehensive understanding of networking principles security frameworks regulatory compliance standards and Zero Trust architecture.
Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to address complex infrastructure challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Administrator or equivalent.
Experience with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and agile software development methodologies.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack.
