Key Responsibilities:
- Lead develop and mentor a team of 10 Accountants to deliver high-quality outputs
- Review sign off on and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and all client deliverables
- Enhance accounting processes internal controls and automation/system integrations
- Interpret and reconcile complex financial and blockchain-related data
- Partner with stakeholders to support outsourced CFO functions and high-level reporting
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA) / CA or equivalent) essential
- 5 years post-qualification experience
- Proven success managing and mentoring accounting teams
- Experience within digital assets crypto-native fintech or blockchain-focused environments
- Strong understanding of blockchain accounting ERP systems and integration
- Proficiency with digital asset accounting tools
- Exceptional analytical organisational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to enhance processes drive efficiencies and implement improvements
- Leadership experience in a technical accounting environment
