This is an opportunity to join a high-impact technology team responsible for building and maintaining the mission-critical systems that power a major financial market.

Performance Objectives for Year One:

Lead the Delivery of a Core System Feature: Within the first 9 months successfully architect develop and deploy a significant new feature for a core business platform ensuring it meets stringent performance security and business requirements from end-to-end.
Enhance System Stability and Efficiency: Within the first 6 months identify and resolve a major source of production instability or technical debt in a key application resulting in a measurable reduction in support tickets and manual interventions.
Become a Domain Technical Expert: Within the first year become the go-to technical authority for a specific business domain (e.g. Trading Clearing or Regulation) successfully translating complex business needs into robust technical solutions and mentoring other developers.
Drive Technical Modernization: Research prototype and champion the adoption of a new cloud technology or design pattern (e.g. leveraging Azure Synapse for advanced analytics implementing a new microservices communication pattern) that demonstrably improves development velocity or system capabilities.
