Overview
As a Counterparty Onboarding Analyst with Susquehanna you will be joining a growing team that partners with stakeholders throughout the firm to ensure our counterparties and vendors are onboarded in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies and procedures.
What youll do:
- Serve as one of the key members of our team that will directly communicate with counterparties and vendors during the onboarding process.
- Perform due diligence on various types of counterparties and vendors Susquehanna faces to help manage/mitigate risk
- Conduct payment instruction vetting on outgoing domestic and international wire transfers in U.S. Dollars and/or foreign currency and EFTs with a high degree of accuracy and within established deadlines.
- Escalate issues according to procedures while owning the resolution and keeping management informed on progress
- Maintain counterparty metadata in a proprietary database and other third-party systems
- Gain exposure to the markets and other areas of the business
- Ad-hoc projects as required
What were looking for
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a financial institution with prior experience knowledge and understanding of SWIFT (experience with International Wires Intermediate Banks/Correspondent Banks is a plus).
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and respond to shifting priorities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate issues into actionable items and recommendations - Experience with Fenergo is a plus
- Sound judgement professionalism and discretion
- Self-motivated and ability to work on your own initiatives is critical for this role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be diligent and meticulous with attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience with Excel
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
