Job Summary
This is a remote position.
- Contract: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: 20hrs per week; Mon-Fri 9am-1pm EST (flexible)
- Client Timezone: Eastern Time (Ohio)
Scope
- Work during clients business hours with high availability expectations
- Direct client interaction including video calls and technical discussions
- Design and prototype websites landing pages and user flows in Figma ensuring seamless user-friendly and responsive experiences
- Lead full brand identity development: logo design color palette selection typography style guides and comprehensive brand systems
- Create wireframes user journeys sitemaps interactive prototypes and final mockups
- Collaborate with strategists developers and marketers to deliver coherent visual solutions and maintain brand consistency
- Produce digital assets for campaigns and social media (ads banners presentations etc.)
- Conduct UX audits A/B tests and usability research translating findings into actionable design improvements
- Stay up to date with digital design UI and UX trends contributing innovative design ideas
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX and web design with a strong portfolio
- Expert-level proficiency with Figma for design systems prototyping and digital asset creation
- Deep experience developing full brand identities and digital collateral from concept to completion
- Skills in responsive and mobile-first design as well as accessibility best practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities
- Animation and motion design
- Experience with accessibility/wcag standards
- Understanding of UX/CRO basic SEO or analytics
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
