Summary of the role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Quality Engineering who loves retail and has a passion for delivering best-in-class experiences for consumers and best-in-industry quality engineering and test automation practices to our development squads.
About the role:
Lead transformation of Quality Engineering adapting and implementing a strategic vision for an enabling team model that works laterally across the Technology organization to:
Define maintain and monitor Quality Engineering governance across both manual and automated testing frameworks.
Provide internal consulting to development squads and subject-matter expertise on QE best practices.
Adapt implement and update test automation tools and frameworks using best in class commercially available systems customized for Levis needs
Identify implement and enhance Quality Engineering tools to support QE activities including contract negotiations and ongoing vendor relationships and training the wider organization on any new tools and their best practices.
Ensure the on-demand creation and availability of test data which is accurate complete and consistent.
Ensure availability and configuration of standardized test environments.
Utilize GenAI and Agentic AI systems to provide industry-leading capabilities to engineering teams
Lead an enabling services and platform services team to provide test automation capabilities to engineering squads across Technology spaces
Drive the adoption of automated testing tools best practices and standards across the organization.
Monitor and analyze related metrics identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with your partners.
Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards and security best practices.
Build and inspire a high-performing and engaged team by recruiting developing and retaining top Quality Engineering talent.
Build high-trust mutually collaborative relationships to drive continuous improvements with partners across Engineering Product Technical Product Program and Commercial teams.
Foster an inclusive culture that champions diversity collaboration and a company-first mindset.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Quality Engineering testing automation.
About you:
Experienced Quality Engineering leader with 15 years experience including 3 years of team management. Subject matter expertise in software testing methodologies automation frameworks and CI/CD practices.
Strong curiosity and exploration in the use of GenAI and Agentic AI to partner with human engineers in getting work done in better ways
Must have experience working in ECommerce process flows.
Breadth in leading QE applications such as TestRail Selenium Playwright Browserstack Page Vitals Gremlin Monitor as well as JIRA Jenkins Git and cloud-based deployment platforms.
Demonstrated capability to use GenAI and Agentic AI to understand and improve on our capabilities
Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing scalable testing solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to interpret monitoring and derive recommendations / actions.
Comprehensive understanding of Agile DevOps and Lean Software principles.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organization.
