Position Summary
All Year Cooling seeks an experienced detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to join our dynamic Coral Springs team. This critical role involves managing the complete permit process for HVAC and plumbing systems ensuring regulatory compliance maintaining accurate documentation and delivering superior customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
Permit Management:Prepare assemble and submit comprehensive permit applications for HVAC and plumbing installations modifications and repairs
Process Monitoring:Track permit applications through review stages and coordinate with municipal authorities
Inspection Coordination:Schedule and monitor inspections maintain detailed inspection logs and communicate status updates to customers and internal teams
Compliance Verification:Ensure all permit requirements are met and notify applicants upon final approval
Regulatory Knowledge:Stay current on local building codes permit procedures and regulatory requirements for both HVAC and plumbing systems
Customer Relations:Provide exceptional service by maintaining clear professional communication regarding permit status requirements and timelines
Documentation:Maintain accurate confidential records and ensure proper filing systems
Quality Assurance:Review applications for completeness and accuracy before submission
Additional Duties:Support team objectives and perform related tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in permit coordination preferably in HVAC and/or plumbing industries
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel) and web-based permit systems
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Professional communication abilities and customer service orientation
Collaborative team player with ability to work independently
Reliable attendance and commitment to consistent work schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Florida building codes and municipal permit processes
Experience with permit tracking software and database management
Understanding of HVAC and plumbing system specifications
Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional Saturday availability as needed)
