Overview:
AtTessian we protect the human layer in email security. As aThreat Intelligence Researcheryoullplay a critical role in analyzing and understanding advanced email threats uncovering attacker tactics and strengthening the defenses that keep our customers safe.Youllbring athreatintelligence background combined with technicalexpertiseand curiosity to stay ahead of evolving this roleyoullhave a direct impact onTessiansproducts while working closely with Data Science Engineering and the Threat Intelligence Lead as part of a growing cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze advanced email attacks to understand the tactics and techniques used to bypass defenses.
Translate insights from malicious emails into new detections usingourthreat intelligence infrastructure.
Label and categorize threats to supportresearch and refineourdetections.
Collaborate closely withother engineering teamsto improve detection accuracy and efficacy.
Partner with the Inbound Product team to enhancethe customerexperience and response workflows.
Write code in Python and use SQL to query and interpret datasets.
Contribute to internal blogs and briefings sharingemergingthreats andshowcasingthe teams work across the organization.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in a security-focused rolewith ideallywithexperience in an email security field.
Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured actionable solutions.
Hands-on skills with Python and SQL for analysis and research.
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Enjoyment forsolving complex challenges.
Clear communicator with a professional presence who takes a high degree of ownership over their work.
Has strong listening skills; open to input from other team members and departments.
Works well in a team environment and has strong collaboration skills.
