Quality Assurance Analyst to work in COO Office
Job Summary:
Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our front-office team of project managers and business analysts to support delivery of a range of high-priority and high-visibility projects working with our development partners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards by identifying issues troubleshooting problems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality throughout the SDLC. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail a deep understanding of QA processes and a passion for delivering reliable user-friendly products which meet the business needs. Major Responsibilities:
Develop manual test plans and test cases as well as automated test scripts to evaluate product quality
Conduct functional and regression testing.
Coordinate/conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in conjunction with Business Stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT Project Managers and Business Stakeholders to fully understand requirements and specifications from a testability perspective.
Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports including documenting issues found in testing.
Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with clear and actionable feedback.
Track and manage defects using Jira ensuring that all issues are properly remediated and appropriately regression tested prior to production release.
Participate in regular project meetings providing feedback on testing timelines and priorities.
Develop automated test suites with Selenium and potentially other automation tools to increase repeatability and efficiency.
Remain up to date on testing tools best practices and industry trends for continuous improvement.
Ensure strict adherence to established QA standards and methodologies throughout the entire development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience performing the kinds of Quality Assurance work described above
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Strong knowledge of advanced Excel and SQL a plus
Experience with Automated Testing and tools such as Selenium Eclipse Maven Jenkins Java
Superior oral & written communication skills
Ability to plan organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision
Strong drive initiative and motivation to excel; accuracy and attention to details in work product
Experience supporting the implementation of technology systems or change management initiatives
Enthusiasm for working in a diverse multi-cultural environment
