The Enterprise Solutions Consultants lead the proactive identification of enterprise needs and opportunities for new technology capabilities for the Department. It is customer-focused and takes full ownership of the end-to-end establishment process from idea discovery through to delivery and ensuring solutions are well-targeted financially viable and ready for adoption.
Working closely with stakeholders Digital Services and under the strategic direction of the Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) the role drives collaboration to shape and deliver initiatives that align with organisational priorities. It leads the development of business cases including cost modelling and value analysis and secures buy-in by clearly demonstrating the strategic and economic benefits of proposed capabilities.
Working alongside the Manager Strategy & Engagement this role will be responsible for shaping establishing and launching a new capability requiring the successful candidate to quickly build credibility demonstrate a strong initiation and delivery mindset and be visibly committed to generating real business value for the department.
The key skills and capabilities required for this position include:
- Experience understanding business needs and converting these into strategic enterprise level digital solutions
- Understanding of the broader digital government landscape and the ability to apply this thinking to the position and the organisation.
- Ability to take an enterprise view of a suite of digital solutions and align these with organizational goals and public sector priorities
- Experience working in a trusted advisor role
- Relevant tertiary qualification in computer science or similar.
