POSITION OVERVIEW

As a student you will support the Interior North & Island Financing teams with a variety of tasks including:

• Performing administrative duties such as collecting financial statements preparing documents and assisting with client requests.

• Assisting account managers with loan origination activities including Know Your Client (KYC) procedures.

• Supporting prospecting efforts and business development initiatives.

• Contributing to marketing activities by helping organize events campaigns and communications and providing on-site logistical support.

• Providing on-site premise support.

• You will be required to work in office.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

• A self-starter who can work independently and take initiative.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

• A foundational understanding of financial products and conceptsincluding interest rates mortgages commercial lending financial statements and financial statement analysisis considered an asset.

• You must have completed at least one year in a post-secondary program and be currently enrolled in a relevant field of study such as economics business or finance.
