Position Title: Implementation Manager APAC

Location: Singapore

Your role

The Implementation Manager is responsible for efficient delivery of customer implementations in our data centres includingcoordinationofinternalandexternalresources coordinationofprocurementactivitiescoordinationof project progress updates quality assurance and coordination of handover to customers and to Operations.TheImplementation Manager will manage multiple simultaneous projects across several data centres in their region using standard project and construction management best practices. Their primary responsibility is to use standard project management and construction best practices to ensure all deployments are completed on time in budget and error-free.

What youll do

• Manageseffectiveexecutionofallassignedcustomerimplementationprojectsinaccordancewiththe contractual agreements and implementation timelines.

• Actsasaninterfaceforcustomersduringtheproject delivery;coordinatescommunicationwithCSMs as required to align with the service wraps.

• Isresponsibleforend-to-endprojectplanningcoordinationofworkresourceallocationqualityspecs and timeline.

• Is responsible for working on creation of abill of materials and scope/spec for each sub-trade required to implement the customer requirements.

• IsresponsibleforcreationofprojectPurchaseOrdersforanyoutsourced work.

• AllocatesworktoRemoteHandstechniciansexternalvendorsandSecurityoverseestheireffective delivery and ensures they meet customer and business requirements.

• Assistswithpre-salesactivitiessuchasprovidingprojecttimelinesestimates project budgetsetc.

• SupportstheRFPprocessfortenderingoflargecustomerinstallationscomparesquotesfromdifferent vendors and participates in the vendor selection process.

• Isresponsibleforandmanagescustomersacceptanceaftercompletion.

• Is responsible for the internal hand-over of the implemented solution to internal teams including the handoverofprojectdocumentation(notincludedinscopebytheDesignEngineering)suchas commissioning/testing results etc depending on the type and size of the installation.

• Isresponsibleforreportingoverallprojectlessons learnedtotheImplementationServicesLeadon what went well what didnt go as expected opportunities to improve.

• Assistswithcoordinationofon-sitedeliveries;isresponsibleforreceiptofgoodsnotsuppliedbythe installing vendor.

• Isresponsibleforprojectcostreportingincludingdocumentationofprojectcostandprojectcost changes.

• If applicable due to Customer installation demands is responsible for submitting of Change ManagementrequeststoOperationsforreviewandapprovalalsoensuresMOPsareapprovedso work can proceed on schedule.

• Isresponsibleforsubmittingvendoraccessrequestsandensuringvendorsaccessisvalidatedintime to keep work on schedule.

• Is responsible for managing a range of internal projects in support of internal network capacity upgradeswithinthedatahalls/MMRsand/orwhitespacefit-outprojectswithinthedatahallsinsupport of creating new sellable area/capacity.

• Provides coverage for other Implementation Managers resources based within the APAC region when needed

• Responsible for orders coming from customers after their lease has commenced these orders may not require a full-scale project.

• Engageintrainingprogramsworkshopsandself-directedtrainingtoenhanceskillsandknowledge relevant to the role.

• Supportsubregional initiativesandactivitiestobeaneffectivememberofthecross-functional team.

• Identifyopportunitiesforprocessenhancementssuggestingimprovementsthatcontributetoefficiency and effectiveness.

• Assistinonboardingnewteammemberssharingknowledgeandhelpingthemintegrateintotheteam and the firms culture.

• Willing to travel locally and internationally approximately 30-50% of the time

What youll need

• Universitydegreepreferablytechnical(i.e.: BA/BSEngineeringTeleCom.ComputerScienceetc.)

• 10 years experience in the deployment of fixtures and infrastructure in a data centre environment (preferable in the Telco Colo or Hosting industry)

• Or minimum5yearsofexperienceinoperationsdata centreconstructionand/orinthe telecommunications/engineering industry.

• Advancedlevelknowledgeofrackcageelectricaldistributionanddatacableinfrastructure

• Advancedlevelknowledgeinreading/interpretingconstructionplanssingle-linedrawingsand construction specifications

• Experience working within an international organisation with teams located across the APAC EMEA and US.

• AdvancedlevelproficiencyintheuseofMSProductivitytoolsincludingWordAccessExcelVisio

• Experience working with systems like Salesforce ServiceNow Oracle

• ExpertlevelproficiencywithprojectmanagementsoftwareMSProject WorkingknowledgeofCost Accounting.

• Preferably Project Management Certified

• Experience working with material vendors and installation vendors throughout the lifecycle of a project including scoping quoting and delivery of large-scale projects
