Come join one of the Philadelphia Inquirers Best Places to Work! Arbill Industries a mid-size PPE Distributor is seeking a Safety Store Associate. The mission of the Safety Store Associate is the delivery of customer orders in a timely accurate and efficient manner.
Duties include:
- Record receiving data using computer
- Pack unpack and mark stock items using identification tag stamp or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment
- Identify incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notify supervisor
- May operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks
- Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash product in correct locations etc.)
- Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
- May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in warehouse environment highly desired
- Ability to work accurately with interruptions to meet deadlines
- Good organizational time management customer services and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of and experience with Stand-up reach truck and/or motorized pallet jack
