F-22 Project Management Specialist-2

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Management Specialist (Level 5) to join our dynamic team in Berkeley Missouri.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversees develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards
• Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend variance impact) determines scope reports and oversight of planning requests
• Identifies risk and opportunity potential develops mitigation planning and refines the business case
• Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules
• Consults and recommends integrated planning scheduling change and baseline management processes techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry
• Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
• Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders
• Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division Business Unit and/or Enterprise levels

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree
• At least 10 years in project/ program management role and utilizing standard project management tools
• Project management and/or engineering integration within complex development programs
• Experience created briefings for Sr. Leaders/ Executives
• Team or Project leadership experience (formal or informal)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher
• Experience managing Avionics / Mission System programs or projects
• Experience or certification with Program Management Best Practices

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master13 years related work experience 19 years related work experience etc.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $132600 - $179400
