Medical Manager Oncology Egypt LEVANT Iran & South Africa
Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the LocalMedical strategy and Medical activitiesfor Amgen products in accordance tointernal and external regulations.
- Act as an advisor and give guidance on the development and execution of Medical strategy and Medical activities for distributors in Levant Iran and South Africa.
- Therapy area and/or product specific Medicaltraining
- Ensuringconsistency of Medicalcontent and scientific messagesacross various tools and materials
- Visits selected KOLs and study groups for strategic discussions andprotocol development
- Partners with the BU Manager in the development and execution ofthe Local product(s) lifecycle management plan
- Oversees in-sourced/outsourced Medical programs and logistics
- Supports Local regulatory and ethics approvals for developmentprotocols
- Provides Medical expertise for pipeline products
- Provides Medical expertise for Health Economy and reimbursementrequests
- Liaise with potential investigators in non-sponsored clinical research
- Advance MSL value proposition identify gaps achieve results and set an example for others to follow by consistently demonstrating Amgen values and leadership attributes.
- Lead and support congress activities as aligned with strategy
- Compliantly collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
- Provide Medical support Medical trainings guidelines and product scientific data . for distributors in Levant Iran and South Africa.
- Approve of promotional and Non-Promotional Material.
Key requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Medicine Pharmacy or any other relevant field.
- 6 to 8 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry preferably in one of the MNCs.
- Knowledge of commercialization and business practices
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development product lifecycle andcommercialization process with advanced understanding of other functions;including but not limited to Clinical Operations Commercial Regulatoryand Medical Affairs
- Oncology Therapeutic area knowledge
- Finance and budgeting acumen
- Strong communication skills & customer orientation
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team
