About This Role
As a Field Engineer Intern you will be crucial to ALCs business through assisting the field commissioning of buildingautomation systems created specifically for each individual customer. We are looking for a teammember who is self-motivated detail oriented and is customer focused. You will work on solvingincreasingly complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
Assist to Initiate install troubleshoot optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct DigitalControl technology.
Assist to provide turnkey project delivery on small to medium projects.
Assist to ensure that systems operate properly to include controls sensors andsoftware.
Assist loading software configuring trends alarms and reports.
Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate and document the status and details of the project to the internal team.
Required Qualifications
Currently Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business Building Automation Mechanical Electrical Electronics or Computer Science
3.0 GPA or higher.
Must be a US Citizen or able to work in the US without sponsorship
Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable oflifting items up to 50lbs.
Possess and maintain valid and current Drivers License and be insurable by our companys insurance carrier
Preferred Qualifications
Team player with a positive attitude.
Competency with Microsoft software including Windows Outlook Word and Excel.
Competent verbal and written communicator.
Aptitude for translating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Able to balance multiple concurrent priorities.
Aptitude for problem solving.
Time management skills including the ability to estimate time required to complete tasks and deliver on the committed timeline.
Ability to report to assigned work location reliably.
